Apple Crisp Recipe – Same as what had as a kid!
As a kid growing up in a housing project, we always had big open grassy common areas between buildings. If my mom was cooking apple crisp you could smell it from several blocks away. I’d always come running!
What I like most about this recipe, is if you cook it right the top crust is something you can get lost in for hours. Much to my mom’s chagrin, I usually had mine picked away before it ever reached my plate.
This has been handed down from grandma Rhee to us just for you.

1/2 teaspoon – Salt
1 Cup – Flour Nutmeg and/or Cinnamon (yummmmmmm)
Put apples and other fruit in a buttered casserole dish. Mix next 4 ingredients. Spread on top of fruit and sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon. (Or both if you’re feeling frisky!)
